Ridina Ahmedová is an award-winning artist from Prague, with an extremely diverse portfolio and international concert experience. Her vola compositions and improvisations unfold in a spiral. There are no musical instruments, only her voice.

She began her career as a jazz singer, and rapidly made a name for herself on the Prague jazz scene. She has been involved in electronic music and dance projects, and has composed music for numerous theatre productions. Her solo CD Hlasem (‘Voice’) was launched in May 2006, after which she was invited by Bobby McFerrin to sing a duet with him during his concert in Prague.

In 2016, her project ‘HLASkontraBAS’ was nominated at the Czech Academy of Popular Music’s Anděl Awards. Ridina has sung in numerous countries, including Ghana, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Russia, Germany, France, Finland, Sweden, Spain, Israek, and the UK. She is very passionate about the phenomenon of the feminine voice, and shares her passion for vocal music through the workshops that he holds frequently.
