STOP THE TEMPO! tells the story of some young people desperately seeking to feel alive, to operate the command buttons of their own destinies. Their personal implosion soon becomes a public explosion, and what seemed to be an anti-system action, to be tried only once, takes on the proportions of an inner schism with no return. Jokers and collateral victims of an unstoppable rhythm, the heroes of the play respond with adrenaline to the state of having been able to look from outside in and not liking what they see. The characters evoke the contrast between being and doing, in a production in which emergence from the shadows is equivalent to a revolution in the dark.
