A provincial theatre is preparing for the preview of an ambitious production: the director wants to tell the history of Romania through weddings and funerals and to regain the favour of his fellow professionals, the actors all want to shine, although each understands the production in a completely different way, and the manager of the theatre, who is also one of the cast, sets out to impress the board of the Theatre Union of Romania, whom she spontaneously invites. Only that nerves are strained, ideas are out on a limb, and accidents are waiting to happen. A comedy about the backstage goings-on of the theatre, which it reveals at their liveliest and most anecdotal.
