THE ADVENTURE

Imagine for a moment how it is to live in Barcelona (an ultimate urban paradise for many of us, with its beach, with its streets on which one can hear absolutely all languages spoken on Earth – vis-à-vis a building designed by Gaudí or near the Miró sculpture nearby) and get to wish to leave wherever. For example in the countryside, somewhere wilderness is only disturbed by cows and thistles. Or in one of the most un-Mediterranean spots in Europe. Or on another continent, in the steel and glass belly of the most populated city in the world.
AVENTURA – a performance about the human wish to be somewhere else than where you currently are, in a continuous yearning towards an undefined „better“, with middle-age middle-class life stories.
