I Laugh Wildly is a one-person show adapted to Romanian realities by Nicholas Cațianis, starting from Christopher Durang’s Laughing Wild. The obsessive attempts of the character to keep afloat and to be accepted by others constantly fail, hence the absurd comedy of the situations.

The permanent conflict between what we feel and what we choose to show others accentuates the sensation of weariness and powerlessness.

I Laugh Wildly is a production about the tumult of the discreet battles that we fight with ourselves, behind a smile.
