Who are the people who deliver food in Bucharest? What is life like for the delivery rider/courier/carrier working for an online order platform? What are the working conditions, earnings, dreams, and aspirations of the new type of workers, who are “their own bosses” and “partners” of the delivery companies?

The production fictionalizes the experiences and problems of the men and women working as delivery riders (or “carriers” as they still appear in the occupational classification) for various Bucharest companies. The script is based on interviews carried out during the years 2020 and 2021: a period that, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, saw a rise both in demand for deliveries and in demand for employment, and concomitantly a deterioration in working conditions in many of the companies.
